A True Romance Film Gets Top Billing

Many aspiring actors and actresses want to get cast in a film classified as a true romance film because this exposure can bring them instant stardom in Hollywood. Auditions for parts in this type of film will attract hundreds of aspiring thespians. Moviegoers love a good true romance film and these movies bring in great profits for studios. Along with the dollars for the studios, the actors and actresses get tremendous exposure when they appear in these films.

An unknown actress can become a household name soon after an appearance in a sentimental true romance film. Overnight these people become fabulous stars. Teenagers tend to idolize some of the stars who got their start in a true romance film and later want to dress or talk like them. A successful true romance film feels good. Things work out really well for the heroine, and she usually lives happily ever after.

The leading lady meets a handsome man with a substantial bank account, possibly a yacht, and moves into the biggest mansion in town. In a great true romance film, she might start out in tattered clothes until she meets a prince who buys her diamonds and pearls.

A True Romance Film Follows a Proven Formula

Directors want to find a good script for a true romance film and actors want to star in one. These movies consistently succeed in fascinating the viewers. Many of these follow a special formula that audiences love. At the beginning of a true romance film, the heroine usually faces some kind of trouble. Maybe she lost her job or flunked out of school. The problem is usually serious, and the audience immediately has a great deal of sympathy for this young lady.

Just as things look particularly bleak, the young star of the film runs into a handsome young man. In many a true romance film, the leading lady does not realize that this young gentleman is a charming prince or the star of a fabulous rock group. While trying to solve the original problem, the heroine does not realize that the young hero could be the solution to the main problem and the key to living happily ever after.

The audience worries that she will not realize the error of her misjudgment before she sends the prize catch out of her life forever. The moviegoers sit on the edge of their seats as she snubs a wonderful mate. At the conclusion of a great true romance film, the heroine captures the affections of the most marvelous man in the world, and they live happily ever after.
