With every new relationship comes excitement and romance. So how can you find the love and romance that comes at the start of a relationship? The first six months or so of a relationship is filled with new beginnings. The female in the relationship takes special care to always look her best when the time comes to go out on a date. The male in the relationship always makes sure that he is dressed nicely and clean shaven.

Indeed, the first few months of a relationship are filled with both parties trying to impress each other. Unfortunately, after the two have gotten to know each other, romance and an exciting relationship start to fade away. Luckily, there are several warning signs to watch out for when it looks like both romance and a pleasant relationship are headed for trouble. So how do you find love and romance again?

Finding Love and Romance Require Effort

If you are in a relationship that has lasted longer than six months, you might find yourself wondering how all the romantic sparks that were flying between you and your significant other burnt out. You still love your partner, but you just can’t find the strength to put all the effort into making yourself look attractive. After all, your partner should love you no matter how you look, right?

Yes, that assumption is true, but no wonder the romance will fizzle if neither of you decide to look your best anymore! After all, does anyone truly find the sight of someone always being in their pajamas with messy hair very appealing?

If you want to find that love and romance like what you used to have then you have to keep it going strong by allocating at least one night a week to a special date night. The two of you should get dressed up just like you did at the beginning of the relationship when you first found that love and romance. Take it a step further by pretending that it is the beginning of the relationship all over again. You might learn something about your partner that you never knew before!

Relationships and Romance Can Wither

Also, it is a common thing for couples that are in a secure relationship to forgo those date nights they used to enjoy so much in favor of sitting in front the television at night. This is no way to find love and romance again in your relationship. While it can be relaxing after a long day of work, it does nothing for the relationship! Make it a bit more romantic by dimming the lights, perhaps lighting a candle or two, and watching a movie that you both enjoy.

These are only some of the many ideas you can try to keep the romance between you and your partner going strong. Take comfort in the fact that many couples find themselves in the same situation, but they work through it. Otherwise there would be no such thing as marriage! You have to realize that it’s easy to find that love and romance again in your relationship but it does take a considerable amount of effort, but by implementing ideas that work for both you and your partner, you will find that the effort is worth it. So get out there and find some love and romance so that you can give your relationship a new spark of life!
